Aid projects in Kenya (that we support)

How do you get to such a small village called Msumarini, which is on the north coast of Kenya, 30km from Mombasa towards Kilifi?

This is very easy to explain. My husband and I have traveled extensively around the world with our children. We came to Africa/Kenya for work reasons (travel industry/airline) through my husband. While he was working there, I was out and about a lot with the children, to get to know the country and its people, as I do on all our trips.

Cashews are toxic and unhealthy (Is that true?)

  1. Histamine content in cashews
  2. Cashew nuts are poisonous
  3. Lectins in cashews
  4. What do cashews contain?

Some opinions claim that cashews are unhealthy or that cashews are poisonous.
You can find the most common opinions about unhealthy cashews here.

Histamine content in cashews

Almost all foods contain histamine in varying concentrations. Some foods, including cashew nuts, release more histamine.
Most people can digest this substance, which is produced when a protein building block is broken down, well. Some can tolerate at least small amounts, while others should not enjoy cashews at all. People with a high histamine intolerance should not eat cashews; consumption is recommended for everyone else. ?
